?OMG defeated FunPlus Phoenix (2-1) on Sunday, picking up an extremely important win on their quest to reach the LPL 2022 Summer playoffs. OMG had an edge in that game, though, since they started on the blue side, but it was a solid all-around performance from Lin “Creme” Jian and his crew.
ThunderTalk Gaming played their last series on Thursday when they lost against Anyone’s Legend (1-2), but they won game two from a +7k gold deficit, and they should have won game three but bungled the opening. It was just another game in which AL got away with it, but mainly it highlighted TT’s tendency to throw away leads and make silly mistakes.
Still, this is legitimately a good team, as indicated in TT’s strong early game, solid objective control, and decent showings against tougher competition. Can they beat OMG? Perhaps, but ThunderTalk are definitely good enough to steal one map, given that they’re starting on the blue side.
Alternatively, a bet on TT Gaming to win the first map is a solid choice, paying around +150 with most LoL betting sites.

?LNG Esports’ season has gone off the rails as they’ve been unable to fix issues they’ve had early and decided to switch out the roster. It didn’t help them win last week, but LNG won a map against Royal Never Give Up (1-2). Whether that will translate to winning against weaker sides remains to be seen.
It’s no secret that Ultra Prime are not a very good team, and barring any surprises in the split’s final stretch weeks, they should miss the playoffs. On a more positive note, UP have looked good against weaker squads, so at the very least, UP should improve upon their finish in spring.
We don’t know how well LNG Esports will do with the new lineup, and it wouldn’t be fair to say that they’re guaranteed to win. But at +120, we like LNG to cover the map handicap and secure their sixth win of the season.
