W7M Esports lost against FaZe Clan (6-8) on the opening Playday, and while they bounced back with a win against FURIA (8-7), W7M left a lot to be desired with their performances. Seeing W7M go overtime in both games isn’t what we expected, and their total tally after two rounds is in stark contrast to their domination in Stages 1 and 2.

Some may argue that W7M’s newest signing Julio “JULIO” Giacomelli is to blame for the team’s poor showings, but that’s not entirely the case. Admittedly, he hasn’t been as good as he may hope, but he wasn’t poor either. Clearly, W7M need a bit more time to get back to their winning ways, but the tournament’s format isn’t too kind to teams that start slow.

MiBR won their opening match of Brasileirao 2022 – Stage 3, edging past FURIA (8-7) before they slipped against Ninjas in Pyjamas (4-7) on Sunday. It was a messy game but a relatively solid showing from MiBR, who entered the third stage of the season with low expectations.

W7M Esports are clearly the stronger team, but they haven’t shown much more than MiBR so far, so it’s not too crazy to believe MiBR might cook up an upset. It would likely doom W7M’s chances of reaching Six Invitational, but given their recent showings, W7M look very beatable.

Ninjas in Pyjamas are 1-0-0-1 with a 5-7 loss against Team Liquid and a 7-4 victory over MiBR, which isn’t bad, but it’s not very good either. Against Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas played fairly well until the second half but have shown a lot more on the defending side against MiBR (1-4).

Overall, Ninjas in Pyjamas haven’t produced anything spectacular, yet they’ve still looked much better than 00Nation, who are 0-0-0-2. With defeats against Team oNe and FaZe Clan, 00Nation will need a miracle to finish the stage inside the top four, granted it’s not like anyone expects them to succeed.

With two ninth-place finishes from the first two Brasileirao 2022, 00Nation are clearly one of the weakest teams in the league, and having failed to make any roster changes; it’s not like that will change anytime soon.

00Nation won against NiP (3-1) when they met in May, but this is not a spot where you would doubt Ninjas in Pyjamas. We’re not getting very generous odds on NiP to win, and that’s fine. Even at $1.55, Ninjas in Pyjamas are a no-branier pick to defeat 00Nation.

FURIA Esports have started R6S Brasileirao 2022 – Stage 3 poorly, with just two points from two overtime defeats against MiBR and W7M Esports. Although it’s not fair to point fingers, Diogo “Fntzy” Lima was arguably the main reason why FURIA haven’t achieved much, with his negative entry numbers and a 3% survival rate. Admittedly, a low survival rate is Fntzy’s main trait, but he often pairs it with high KD, which wasn’t the case at this stage (1-6).

Notably, all players on FURIA, except for Thiago “Handy” de Sá, have negative ratings, so their issues are much deeper than just one player’s lack of form. But despite their disastrous record, FURIA could have easily won both games – they had an almost perfect start against W7M (5-1 at half) and held a 6-5 lead against MiBR.

With small tweaks, FURIA can easily bounce back, and we have no reason to doubt them. And it seems like the top Rainbow 6 Siege betting sites fairly reflect that, seeing how they’re $1.75 favourited against FaZe Clan, who are 1-1-0-0 with wins against W7M (8-6) and 00Nation (7-1).

If we had to pick a side, we would take FURIA, but the current betting odds offer no value. FaZe Clan are good enough to compete with FURIA, and considering how many close affairs the opening week of R6S Brasileirao 2022 – Stage 3 has produced, we like overs at $2.23 better.

Over the next four series, MiBR managed only one win (7-3 against Black Dragons e-Sports), losing the remaining three against w7m esports (0-7), Team oNe eSports (4-7) and INTZ (5-7).

But even after a winless week, MiBR remain in fourth place with nine points, a spot that they secured largely thanks to the surprisingly high number of overtimes we saw from other mid-table teams. But the question is whether MiBR can bounce back?

We may see MiBR perform better on Friday, but we wouldn’t count on them beating Team Liquid. With two defeats against w7m (3-7) and oNe (6-8), Liquid have shown that they might struggle against top-tier teams, but they have yet to disappoint when faced with mid-table teams. The R6S betting odds on Liquid aren’t very high, but -188.68 is a fair price and worth a wager.

?Ninjas in Pyjamas are 1-0-1-4, which puts them in a critical position, which is close to irreversible at this point. They have gone winless for two consecutive weeks, and there was even more bad news for NiP, as Gabriel “pino” Fernandes tested positive for COVID and wasn’t able to play.

NiP are expected to struggle against Team oNe eSports, which sounds fair, but we would much rather be with NiP at +175 rather than oNe at -250. NiP’s situation isn’t perfect, and they are struggling, but we have seen enough from the fallen titans to suggest they can spring an upset here.

Even though NiP haven’t impressed anyone in Brazil throughout October, their run to the big stage in Sweden is a solid testament to their quality. Moreover, Ninjas in Pyjamas are 3-1 up in the head-to-head with FURIA and 3-0 across their last three meetings.

The offered betting odds on NiP aren’t great, but -156.25 is a fair price. A 2-0 sweep is a possibility; however, these regional derbies usually get messy, so we will take the safer moneyline option.

?The defending Brasileir?o champions, MiBR, clash with Team oNe esports in a rematch from last year’s semi-finals. MiBR were the better team in 2020, but as the latest R6S betting odds suggest, they will struggle to defeat oNe on Wednesday.

The reigning Six Mexico Major 2021 champions have achieved plenty this year, namely this month. Team oNe placed second at Copa Elite Six Season 2021 Stage 3 two weeks back and ended the 2021 Brasileir?o season in third place with an 11/5/5/6 record. MiBR, meanwhile, haven’t placed higher than sixth across four tournaments since they claimed bronze from Six Invitational 2021 in May.

MiBR and Team oNe have met 14 times since October 2019, and while MiBR lead the head-to-head (7-1-6), they have also lost both of their last two meetings. Still, MiBR forced 15 rounds (7-8) in September, suggesting that MiBR are good enough to put up a fight.

A small play on MiBR to cause an upset is worth a shot at +231.

?FURIA Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas last met in September, when NiP triumphed to improve their head-to-head record to 5-1-1. FURIA’s sole win against their regional rivals this year happened in March, during the first stage of the Brasileir?o campaign.

Since then, NiP have claimed four back-to-back wins with an aggregate score of 30-22. However, it’s worth noting that in two of their last three clashes, FURIA have claimed at least six maps and nearly won in September (7-8).

Form-wise, there is not a lot to separate NiP and FURIA, and we would even go so far as to say that FURIA have shown a lot more this month. The only reason why NiP are considered the favourites is their head-to-head record, which doesn’t mean much knowing that their last convincing win against FURIA happened in July. The value is with the outsiders.

?FURIA Esports have shown improvement compared to their run through the second stage of Brasileir?o. Admittedly, they’re not one of the top teams, but FURIA are already qualified for the next stage of the competition with a 12-2-3-7 record.

W7M Gaming are guaranteed to finish this stage inside the bottom four following their loss against Ninjas in Pyjamas (7-8). It marked W7M closest match against a good team since their 7-8 loss against Team oNe esports at the start of September, but we must mention that NiP are struggling with their form.

W7M played well last time out, but they won’t be nearly as efficient when faced with FURIA, who, unlike NiP, know how to close out games.

Overt ended the third stage of Oceanic Nationals with a 3-1-0-3 record and 11 points, one short of a top-three finish. Rhythm have managed a slightly worse 3-0-0-4 record and nine points, two clear of the bottom three.

Overt and Rhythm played their last fixtures on Saturday, October 2, when Overt crushed Chiefs Esports Club (2-7), while Rhythm lost to Knights (5-7). Although entirely different outcomes, we have to value Rhythm’s showing against the regular-season champions higher.

Rhythm and Overt last met on Saturday, September 11, when Overt won 7-5, largely thanks to their performance on defence (5-1). It was a well-deserved win, but Overt and Rhythm are much closer talent-wise than what the R6S betting odds suggest, which presents us with a great value bet on the outsiders.

China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1

?These teams last met on Tuesday, when we saw Phoenix Gaming surprise Royal Never Give Up by taking the series lead. They failed to keep up the pace, however, which allowed RNG to come out triumphant thanks to a phenomenal reverse-sweep.

Since then, RNG have played two games against PSG.LGD (0-2) and EHOME (2-0). Phoenix have played five games in that time and produced a few impressive results, most notably a 2-1 win over ViCi Gaming as well as clean sweeps against Aster and Invictus Gaming.

Even though RNG are the better-known team, we shouldn’t undervalue Phoenix and their results across the last week. Phoenix have pushed RNG to their limits before, and there is no reason to believe they can’t do it again.

?EHOME stumbled a bit throughout the group stage and narrowly made it out alive with a 2-2 record, although that includes an impressive 2-1 win over ViCi Gaming.

LBZS looked much better in the first stage of the competition and trumped their group with a perfect 4-0 run. However, Zhuang “xiaofu” Yongfu failed to extend their momentum into the playoffs, where they lost 0-2 to ViCi to drop into the lower bracket.

The odds at Dota 2 betting sites for this match are hard to understand. While EHOME are a far more successful team, we can’t ignore just how dominant LBZS have been throughout the tournament. They defeated Invictus Gaming and Sparking Arrow Gaming and swept PSG.LGD, who beat EHOME 2-0 in the first round of the playoffs.

The +109 offered on LBZS seems far too high considering what they have shown, which is why we have no problems siding with the underdogs.

Moon Studio Mid-Autumn League

?Neon Esports have met with Execration eight times since July, winning three games, drawing two and losing the remaining three. Execration won two of the last three meetings, although they lost 0-2 to Neon just over a week ago during BTS Pro Series Season 3 Southeast Asia.

The odds heavily favour Neon, but there is a strong possibility we could see an upset. Execration recently signed Karl “Karl” Jayme, who has settled in well at his new team and could make a big impact on Thursday’s clash.

496 Gaming enter the Moon Studio Mid-Autumn League after finishing in seventh-eighth place at BTS Pro Series Season 3 Southeast Asia. Cignal Ultra haven’t seen any notable success since late August, when they finished fifth-sixth at the LUMO Cup.

Cignal have met with 496 five times in 2020 and won three series, although they lost the last two at the Moon Studio Asian League Southeast Asia Qualifier and OMEGA League Asia Divine Division. While there are some concerns with Cignal’s form, their previous meetings with 496 were very close. Since the favourites have won only one match in their last six, there is great value in siding with the underdogs.

R6S Brasileir?o 2020

MiBR head into this match with a 2-1-0 record and +4 map differential, whereas INTZ are 1-2-1 with the same differential. This will mark the first meeting between these two Brazilian Rainbow Six Siege squads since mid-July, when INTZ defeated MiBR with a 6-6 tie on Oregon and a convincing 7-3 win on Villa.

Even though MiBR seem stronger – largely due to their results against Santos (2-0) and Ninjas in Pyjamas (1-1) last weekend – we have to remember INTZ consistently push them to their limits. As with any strong rivalry, this one can go either way, which makes the outsiders a much better bet.
